Eric is in the process of recording his latest, FORMAL! (www.pledgemusic.com/erichimanband for more on it) as the Eric Himan Band adding in a horn section with songs mainly written on piano, a first for the guitarist. This record is being recorded at Jim Henson Studios (Formerly A&M Records) with producer, Nathan Jenkins who has worked with artists like Beyonce and Aaaliyah. Studio musicians include guitarist, Joel Shearer (Alanis Morrisette, Annie Lennox), Joseph Karnes (bassist for Fitz and the Tantrums), and drummer Blair Sinta (Alanis Morrisette, Melissa Etheridge). Eric Himan’s last release, SUPPOSED UNKNOWN, brings a veteran folk-rocker to the stage and proves this award-winning singer/songwriter is no amateur to independent music.
Eric Himan is a Fender Guitars endorsed artist (appearing in their Fender Catalogue), winner of multiple songwriting contests, and has been performing non-stop in and outside the US for the past several years.
